Company president Craig Starke confirmed the opening of the Western division. "We have all worked hard to become an important supplier to the mobile and modular industry out west" said Starke "The ability to produce and warehouse our products in Alberta will enable us to capture a larger share of the growth being experienced in the Western provinces". The plant will be strategically located in Calgary. "As we speak, our engineers are supervising the final testing of our newly customized lamination line and we anticipate full production to begin by November 30th."

Company President Craig Starke confirms a new financing agreement with Investissement Quebec. Starke said “these funds will support our efforts to further automate our factory through the addition of robots and new equipment with the goal of improving efficiencies and widening the scope of our product offering”.

Okaply has purchased a new Profile wrapper to better serve its customers needs. Company President Craig Starke said ”this new state of the art profile wrapper is the first investment towards becoming an important moulding supplier to the mobile and modular industry in Canada.

CEO Robert Hirscheimer has announced that the new President Craig Starke has also become a shareholder in Okaply as has Vice President Sergio Martins. “The fact that our senior management has put  their own money into the company should say a lot about how much they believe in our prospects”.

Okaply Industries has consolidated its operations under one roof in Oka Quebec. The company will now have its factory, warehouse and offices in one facility that is more than 100,000 sf. CEO Robert Hirscheimer says “the move will help the business operate more efficiently and allow us to better serve our customers”.
