Okaply Industries Limited is currently seeking qualified candidates to become an essential part of their production team at our Oka, Quebec facility, 2 km from Highway 640. Okaply Industries, established in 1966, is a processing company specializing in the manufacture of prefinished panels, custom cut-to-size and component production through our machining centers. Our main markets are manufacturers of recreational vehicles, pre-engineered homes, partition systems, mobile offices as well as renovation centers.
The laborer performs all tasks related to the supply of raw materials production machinery, assists the machining operators in performing the requested work and ensures a continuous flow in the stacking and packaging of the finished products. This work must be carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with quality and production standards. It should be noted that a working post rotation is made in order to avoid the repetition of movements.
Supply the components to the various workstations, supplying the various machines for the production of raw materials, whether wood panels, pallets or other products;
Stack finished products on pallets continuously;
Packaging and unpacking packages/bundles;
Maintain a clean and organized workplace;
Report any product quality issues encountered to the operator of the machinery;
Ability to work unattended;
Evaluate the quality of finished products and intervene adequately when problems are detected;
Observe the « SAFETY, QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY » aspects in the evolution of its tasks;
Perform other related duties related to the position.
Education Level: High school

Salary offered: $14.82 – per hour ($15,12 as of July 1, 2019)
Number of hours per week: 40.00
Other Conditions: The hourly wage will be $ 1.25 per hour above the minimum wage during the probationary period of three (3) months.
